This 5‑spoke spider gasket is a key internal component used in multiport valves to control the flow of water between different valve settings (e.g. filter, backwash, waste, rinse). It fits into the valve base beneath the selector plate and forms a watertight seal to prevent internal leaks or cross-port flow.
