Always inspect and replace the standpipe O’Ring when servicing the filter or changing media.
Ensure the seating groove is clean before installation.
Apply a light coating of silicone lubricant to improve sealing and avoid twisting.
Press the standpipe firmly into place to confirm a proper seal.
If sand enters the pool, this O’Ring may be worn and require immediate replacement.
