Ensure the tank-to-valve O’ring is clean, undamaged, and lubricated.
Hand-tighten unions—do not overtighten.
Confirm correct alignment of plumbing before tightening unions.
Always switch pump off before changing valve positions.
Replace worn O’rings during servicing to maintain proper sealing.
